A RARE FOSSIL REPTILE BARASAURUS,
From Madagascar, Triassic to Permian boundary circa 260 million years old.
A split stone containing the opposing halves of a rare, complete reptile. Preserved in the stomach are quartz gastroliths (stones), consumed by the animal to aid diving to greater depths.
